The award-winning Landry Design Group, Inc. was created in 1987 by Richard Landry, AIA. With current clients in the United States, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, United Kingdom, France and Russia, the firm continues to raise the standards in high-end residential architecture. In recognition for his achievements in the field of architecture, Richard Landry has been on the Architectural Digest AD100 list of the top 100 architects/designers in the world since 2000. In 2004 he was presented with the prestigious "Stars of Design" award from the Pacific Design Center, and he has been on the "Robb Report Recommended" list of best architects since 2007.

Internationally renowned for their designs in a variety of architectural styles and for their service-oriented philosophy, Landry Design Group is producing residences ranging from classical estates to cozy rural villas and cutting-edge contemporary structures. The firm's commissions include work for such notable clients as Kenny G, Rod Stewart, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, Wayne Gretzky, Mark Wahlberg and Sylvester Stallone.

Landry Design Group has received several national and international design awards, including the 2010 International Property Award - Americas Division, the 2008 Builder's Choice Award and 42 coveted Gold Nugget Awards. For the last two consecutive years Robb Report magazine selected a home designed by Landry as their "2010 Ultimate Home" and "2011 Ultimate Home." The firm's projects have been featured on numerous TV channels, including ABC, HGTV, Travel Channel, E! Entertainment and A & E Television.

In 2006, Landry Design Group published their first monograph "MODERN TO CLASSIC: Residential Estates by Landry Design Group" featuring some of the firm's most inspiring projects and illustrated with more than 350 color photographs. A second monograph, "PRIVATE ESTATES: New Architecture by Landry Design Group", has been released in December 2011.

The firm's current projects continue to be as diverse as their clients, and even with a portfolio of over four hundred homes, every new project is viewed as an opportunity to further challenge the imagination, produce quality architecture, and display versatility. The firm offers a full range of architectural services, including architectural interior and hardscape design.

President & Founder

Richard Landry received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Université de Montréal, in Québec, Canada, and a Diploma in Architecture and Urban Design from the Kobenhahn Universitat, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a licensed architect in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina and Washington. He is also certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA).

Brian Pinkett, AIA, has been working with Landry Design Group for over 17 years. As Partner, Pinkett currently focuses on the firm's overall organizational growth, with special emphasis on the management of its overseas projects. Some of the clients with whom Pinkett has worked include Wayne Gretzky, Sugar Ray Leonard, Keyshawn Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. Pinkett has shown exemplary dedication to the firm, devoting enormous effort to develop systems and standards that are being utilized on a daily basis.

A native of New England, Marc Welch earned his Bachelors degree in Architecture from Cornell University. Welch joined Landry Design Group in 1991. He has been instrumental in the firm's growth as a leading architectural design firm. Welch's projects have gathered numerous awards, including Gold Nugget Grand Awards and a Builder's Choice Award. Welch and his team are currently working on projects ranging stylistically from modern to classic and geographically from California to Asia and the Middle East.

For eight years Todd Riley was the principal of an award-winning Southern California firm specializing in custom residential projects with an emphasis on the Spanish Colonial Revival style. After joining Landry Design Group in 2001, Riley continues to explore new design approaches across a variety of styles ranging from traditional French, Italian and Spanish to stunning modern villas. Among his current projects are residences in Los Angeles, Malibu, France, England, Russia and China.

William Mungall, AIA, LEED AP, has been with Landry Design Group for ten years. Leading a talented team with current projects throughout Asia and across the USA, he also chairs the firm's Sustainable Design Committee. His latest projects include a modern residence in Singapore and an Andalusia-style estate overlooking Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, both winners of Gold Nugget Award for design excellence, as well as several other estate residences in Southeast Asia and California.
